Josh Kurpius - Living Lost Photo Exhibit
Josh Kurpius is a brilliant photographer. He and his bike, The Locust, have become iconic figures of the biker scene. Based out of the Chicago area, he rides all over the country from the Brooklyn Invitational to Born Free and everywhere in between. He has amassed an amazing collection of images . . . and stories.

I grew up with Gene and have known him since kindegarten. I can still remember cruising around town on milk crates in the back of his dad's '35 Ford as a kid. Gene's art also extends to automobiles. He builds hotrods and motorcycles. He built and owns the '29 Model A in the video.

Powerplant Choppers
For anyone not familiar with Yaniv Evans of Powerplant Choppers, he is the definition of a true craftsman. He is in a league along with the likes of Indian Larry and Shinya Kimura. You can't find store bought or bolt on parts on his bikes. He makes everything himself. His bikes are absolutely one off custom. He has developed his own style that is easily identifiable as Powerplant. Most noticeable are his frames, the way in which he mounts the gas tanks and the ridiculous amount of polished metal (stainless, brass and nickel - not chrome) throughout the bike. These are two of my favorite bikes. His personal bike, the Black Mantis, and his Born Free 5 build, the P-16 Bomber.
